NRP Car Park

Rooftop Solar Panels

A Net-Zero Solution

The NRP car park is a multi storey car park located adjacent to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital providing parking for visitors to the hospital
They wanted to reduce their carbon footprint and the impact the energy usage had on the environment so a rooftop solar PV installation was proposed
To become net-zero a total of 900 solar panels were installed on the rooftop and 9 inverters – resulting in a 364.50kW system that produces enough power to cover the whole car parks usage and even enough for future battery storage or it can be exported to the grid
Installation commissioned by Power Different in July 2023
